"Coming In The Back Door" This shot of a KA-3B (BuNo 147655) of VAK-208 was taken by a nervous
marine strapped down to the open ramp of a KC-130. It was worth it for this unique photo.
Taken over S. Cal. near Twenty Nine Palms in Oct. 1982.

"New Look" Fresh from the paint shop at Van Nuys, NTA-3B BuNo 144856, sports a 'new
look'. Jim Sieff of Raytheon picked the colors and in his own words said, "We have
some stored ERA-3Bs in low-vis flat and they are filthy." This gloss Dark Ghost Gray
and low-vis F-15E style markings will really show off this Skywarrior. Nice job!

"Mystery Squadron!" Of course it's an EKA-3B, BuNo 142660. Our loyal whale watchers figured it
out. It's VAQ-130 WESTPAC Det 31 from the 'Bonnie Dick'. It was taken 8/70, location
unknown. The squadron decal is a 'special' one made up for this det. It's a spouting whale
with the unofficial det name "Bonnie Robbies" eblazened below. Thanks Tom Kisinger
