Spotted on the deck of USS Eisenhower this VQ-2 EA-3B was photographed with sunny Morocco in the background in 1982.

"Very Serious Maintenance"

EA-3B 146455 in the shops at AERONAVALI, Italy. Looks like major corrosion control in progress. This aircraft spent the better part of 1987 here undergoing repairs.

 

Top photo shows wing striped down to the spars.

 

 

 

Center photo is of upper wing surface and fuselage peeled open.

 

 

 

Bottom  photo shows repairs nearly complete with new paint.
