Det ONE, CVW-9, NG,
CONSTELLATION (CVA-64) on her 1971-1972 Westpac
Cruise. During this cruise, Randy Cunningham and Willie Driscoll shot
down 5-Migs, and we also got to see what Hanoi and Haiphong looked
like, burning at night. All from the cockpit of NG-616!
NG-616 was our best bird, at one point during that cruise, making 56
consecutive flights without a downing gripe.
