Does this count as a trap?

Bingo to NAF Sigonella after losing hydraulics results in
a blown and shredded port main gear tire. They did catch a
wire!
Then...........when replacements arrive for return to JFK,
main gear sinks into soft asphalt on runway apron. Some
days are better than others.

Just a little more

Sometimes you have to help a whale. Cat crew, troubleshooters
and anyone available joins in to get this EA-3B (BuNo 146455)
positioned for launch off a waist catapult aboard USS America
(CVA-66) in 1981. It's a tight turn on a rolling deck. Cockpit
crew is Parce, Wenceslao and Emmett.
