grab0009.jpg (112520 bytes) "Grey Ghost"

Yeah it's blurry! He caught the cameraman by surprise. This ERA-3B was photographed, just barely, at 450 kias and slightly over 100 ft. above the cameraman's head looking out the cockpit hatch. By Mark 'Herman' Crissman in Andoya Norway.

a3bolt.jpg (106046 bytes) "Whale Dance"

Sometimes it takes more than once! USS Kitty Hawk 1984 VQ-1 Det Charlie. This EA-3B gets a 'bolter' and has to go around again looking for another wire.

last_a3_crew.jpg (326236 bytes) "One More Time"

dateline: Oct. 30, 1991, NAS Key West, Fl. ERA-3B (BuNo 146446) is poised for the last flight of a USN Skywarrior. The crew, left to right: LT Mark 'Hermann' Crissman, Nav.; AME1 John 'Woody' Olasin, Crew Chief; and CDR Bruce 'Lips' Nottke, Pilot, delivered this VAQ-33 EA-3B and two others to Phoenix Aviation for modification and participation in B-2 bomber testing. That was the last Skywarrior to leave active duty!

Activity in the third seat can be slow! You know who you are! I'm withholding names to protect the 'innocent'. Just couldn't resist.
